Case Study - Lone Worker
If you have staff who either work alone or are vulnerable (e.g. all female staff) then S.C.A.M.P Security can help in several ways.
We can provide radio personal attack units. In the event of your staff being threatened or attacked, the press of a button will send a signal to our Alarm Receiving Centre which is uniquely identified as originating at your location. We will then take the action that you have specified but this would normally involve informing your local police force and may involve responding the nearest S.C.A.M.P Security patrol officer to assist (or other response company/keyholder).
We can also supply gyroscopic sensing personal attack units which can trigger an alarm condition either by pressing a button as above or if the unit becomes horizontal. This ensures that even if your lone worker falls over and is unable to summon assistance directly, we will still be able to take the necessary action. This may be particularly relevant where a lone worker is in a potentially dangerous environment, e.g. a lone boilerman who starts work several hours before the rest of your staff in order to start the boilers and other equipment.
Our mobile patrol service can also carry out routine/random checks on your staff to verify their welfare. This can be both a means of reassurance to your staff and the presence of a uniformed security officer arriving in a marked vehicle can also act as a deterrent to potential intruders.
We also operate a ‘check call' service. This is identical to the check call routine that our own static officers follow. Each hour at a specified time, your staff will contact our control room to confirm that they are in order. If no call is received, attempts will be made to contact them to verify their welfare. If no contact can be made then our mobile patrol service (or other contact) will be tasked to attend the premises and verify their welfare.
