Intruder Alarms

S.C.A.M.P Security supply and install intruder alarms to EN50131 (please see our features section for an explanation of EN50131 including alarm grades) to both commercial and domestic premises.

Using state of the art control panels such as the Aritech™ and Castle Eurotech™ ranges, we can provide a bespoke security solution individually designed to your requirements. Systems can be operated via either a code or a fob and all users on the system can be uniquely identified. We may also be able to configure your system to operate by timers so that it is armed and disarmed automatically at preset times. We can integrate several other types of alarm into the system and can include fire and other environment detection, perimeter detection, personal attack/holdup, access control and other alarms from the same control panel to offer a cost effective solution. All systems can be monitored by our 24 hour NSI Gold Alarm Receiving Centre for prompt action to be taken in the event of an alarm condition (see ARC for further details).

Commercial - We are able to call on a vast range of equipment to design a custom system to your exact requirements. This may include elements of, for example,

Passive infra red detection (PIR) – these are the detectors which are typically seen mounted in the corner of rooms and are the standard solution for a general environment such as an office. 360° Ceiling mounted variants are also available.
Dualtech detection – these are detectors which incorporate dual technology (PIR and microwave) to reduce the incidence of false alarms in less ideal environments.
Redwall™ PIR detection – these detectors are designed for the protection of a long narrow area.
Redwide™ PIR detection – similar to a redwall but with a wider field of coverage.
Surface and Concealed magnetic contacts – these are used to protect doors to the premise causing a break in the circuit when the door is opened.
Heavy Duty contacts – similar to above but for use on larger doors such as roller shutters and sliding or concertina doors.
Vibration & Shock Sensors – these are used to detect attack to a solid surface such as wall and can provide early detection of attempted intrusion before access is gained.
Breakglass Sensors – these are used to detect the specific signature of breaking glass yet remain unaffected by other factors such as movement or environment.
Seismic Tremblers – these are generally fitted to safes to detect tampering or attack.

Domestic - Although we are able to fit the full range of equipment available to us to any system, a typical domestic system will include detection limited to PIR detection, door contacts and personal attack buttons. Additionally, we are able to fit a wide range of detection such as fire or carbon monoxide detection to the system where the cost would be prohibitive to install a separate system in a domestic environment. A domestic system will also typically provide a part-set facility allowing the downstairs and other unoccupied areas to be protected whilst you sleep.
