Open/Lock Service - An extension of the mobile patrol service is an open/lock service. Many companies prefer not to rely on their staff to open up their premises in a morning and lock them up on an evening for a variety of reasons (e.g. Staff may be vulnerable on their own during wintertime/darkness, staff may be unfamiliar with alarm systems, too many sets of keys would need to be issued for all members of staff, unfair to ask staff to check every window and door when they have done a full days work, etc). Whatever the reason, an open/lock service is the answer. Typically, many clients choose to allow S.C.A.M.P Security to both open and lock their premises but you may require us to just lock up on an evening, we will provide a service to suit. We can attend your premises to take over from your staff at either a pre-arranged time or we can await a telephone call from your staff to let us know that they have finished for the day.

We will attend and carry out a full check of the premises to verify that all is secure and also note any concerns that your contact may need to be advised of (e.g. machinery left running). Once we are satisfied that the premises are secure, we will arm the intruder alarm system and secure any external barriers or gates. In the case of a S.C.A.M.P Security intruder alarm system, the patrol officer will verify with our Alarm Receiving Centre that a 'closed' signal has been received to confirm that the system has correctly armed.
